ZooLights at the Oregon Zoo
Since 1986, the Oregon Zoo has put on an incredible holiday light show called ZooLights. From late November through early January, the zoo transforms into a winter wonderland with over 1.5 million lights. Mile-long paths wind through elaborate light displays like a 100-foot lighted tunnel and a whales swimming among glowing jellyfish. Epic holiday trees, shining animals, and costumed carolers make this a magical experience. You can view the lights every evening from 5pm-9pm except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Tickets are timed entries purchased in advance. They go quickly during peak season, so book your Party Bus ride ahead of time too. Christmas Ships Parade of Lights
Portland’s Christmas Ships Parade is the largest holiday boat parade in the country. For two weeks in December, beautifully illuminated boats cruise along the Willamette and Columbia Rivers delighting crowds. Bundle up your Portland Party Bus Company group and head to the eastbank of the river downtown to watch the festive flotilla sail by. The illuminated parade happens nightly from December 3-17 this year. The brightly-lit vessels glide slowly so you can take in all the holiday splendor. Christmas in the Garden at the Grotto
Experience the magic of Christmas at the Grotto’s special holiday event, Christmas in the Garden. More than 500,000 lights transform the beautiful Catholic shrine into a twinkling winter spectacle after dark each night. Choirs, musicians, and roving carolers add to the merriment. Nightly from 5pm-9pm between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, your group can stroll the illuminated garden paths and enjoy the concerts. Enchanted Forest Holiday Light Show
Just 30 minutes south of Portland lies one of the most elaborate holiday light shows on the West Coast. The Enchanted Forest’s nightly Holiday Light Show illuminates the fairytale theme park with over 1.2 million lights and over 100 lighted displays. Wander through the whimsical forest setting and see lights choreographed to holiday music. Santa visits on select nights for free photos. Festive foods like hot chocolate and elephant ears add to the fun. Nightly from November 25 to January 1, Portland Party Bus Company will drive your group directly to the Enchanted Forest gates.
